Pakistan and Bangladesh kicked off the Super 4 round of the 2023 Asia Cup as the latter won the toss and got their opponents to bat first on Wednesday.

Commenting on the team's plan going into the match, Babar called the pitch favorable for bowling but said he would also opt to bat if he won the toss.

“Our competition is against the number one team. The players will face the best fast bowling attack in the world,” said Shakib.

Bangladesh will walk the field with one change in their team as Najamul Hasan Shantu is not included in the playing XI today.

In today's match, bowling all-rounder Faheem Ashraf replaced Mohammad Nawaz in the playing eleven.

Nawaz went wicketless in Pakistan's last match against India, which was left scoreless due to rain. He conceded 55 runs in eight matches against India. He took one wicket for 13 runs in his two overs against Nepal.

Faheem last played an ODI last month against Afghanistan. He took two wickets in eight overs.

The rest of the game remains the same as the last match.
